Golden Harvest to launch Domino’s Pizza franchise in Bangladesh soon

Golden Harvest QSR, part of the diversified Golden Harvest group with interests across the food, dairy, logistics and commodities industries, will soon launch Domino’s Pizza in Bangladesh.

Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd (JFL), which operates US quick service brands Domino’s Pizza and Dunkin Donuts in India, announced that it will partner up with Golden Harvest QSR to form a joint venture to launch Domino’s Pizza in Bangladesh.

JFL will be the majority shareholder with 51% of the total shareholding, while Golden Harvest QSR will hold the balance 49%.

In a statement, JFL Chairman Shyam Bhartia said: “As one of the fastest growing economies, we believe Bangladesh offers huge potential for Domino’s.”

JFL already has exclusive rights to develop and operate Domino’s in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal, the company said in a statement.
