Per capita income is $ 1,751, GDP 7.88 percent


In the fiscal year 2017-18, the per capita income has been $ 1,7751. Which is about Tk 1,45,333 in Bangladeshi coins ($ 83 per dollar).

In the current fiscal year, the GDP growth has achieved 7.86 percent. Which was initially 7.65 percent.

The meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) in the morning on Tuesday (September 18th) presented a report of per capita income and GDP growth to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Every year, the BBS publishes the third quarter of the fiscal year and publishes periodic accounts of various sectors, including GDP growth, per capita income. At the end of the fiscal year, BBS issued the final account.

Following the meeting, the publication of the report of the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS) was released by Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal.

During this time, he said the GDP growth record was 7.86 percent. But the target was 7 decimal 4 percent. Besides, the per capita income is $ 1,751.
