Use of EVM depends on the support of political parties: Chief Election Commissioner

EVM usage depends on parliamentary support for support, training, law and political support. The Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda said that the machine will be used in 25 seats.

He said this while inaugurating a two-day training program on electronic voting machine (EVM) on Monday (September 3rd) in the election training institute.

Nurul Huda said, "We are now in preparatory position with EVMs. If the law is passed in the Parliament, if capacity is achieved and acceptable to the people, then I will use EVM at the same place as much as possible.

He said Randmally EVM will be used if the law is passed. If the government passes the law, and if the environment is favorable then only the Randomly EVM will be used in the parliamentary elections. I will use EVMs in 25 seats out of 300 seats. Randomly seats will be selected. There will be no substitute for anybody here.

The chief election commissioner said, discussion and criticism were made when something new started. That's what they would normally be worried about how they would use EVMs (teams). Many questions have arisen, they are relevant. We were not able to reach the public with these campaigns.

He said the technology is not in the box now. In human hands, thoughts have entered consciousness. When the EVM started in 2010, there was a flaw. But now we have brought advanced technology. We will organize the fair and explain it. I will present to the people in detail. Fairs will be organized in district districts. If there is an error, it will not be used.
