Ramadan office timing 9am to 3:30pm

The government fixed the office time during Ramadan from 9.00am to 3.30PM for all offices of government, semi-government, autonomous and semi-autonomous bodies.

Cabinet Secretary Shafiul Alam informed that the decision was made at a cabinet meeting presided over by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her office in the capital.

There would be a 15-minute prayer break from 1:15pm. the cabinet secretary said.

“The new timing would be effective for all the government, semi-government, autonomous and semi-autonomous institutions,” he said.
