Amin Mohammad Group Chairman MM Enamul Haque laid to rest

MM Enamul Haque, Chairman of Amin Mohammad Group and President of the editorial board of Dainik Shomoyer Alo, was laid to rest at Banani Graveyard in Dhaka on Sunday morning.

He was buried after the Janaza at Gulshan Society Jame Masjid at 10:00 am.

Hundreds of people, including family members, relatives and eminent personalities, attended the Janaza.

His two sons, managing directors of Amin Mohammad Group Md Ramzanul Haque Nihad and Md Aminul Haque Nabil, made short speeches and requested everybody to pray for eternal peace of the departed soul of their father.

Salman F Rahman, Private Industry and Investment Adviser to the Prime Minister and Chairman of Beximco Group, gave a brief speech before the Janaza.

MM Enamul Haque breathed his last at Gulshan residence at around 11:00 pm on Saturday.

Born in Dakshin Medinipur village under Lohajang upazila of Munshiganj on December 1, 1958, he established real estate company Amin Mohammad Lands Development Limited and other business organisations. He was also engaged in various social activities.

He left behind wife, two sons, a daughter and a host of relatives and well wishers to mourn the death.

Md. Motiur Rahman, Editor & Publisher of 'The Finance Today' (country's leading financial news portal) has expressed deep shock at the death of MM Enamul Haque, Chairman of Amin Mohammad Group.

He said, "I express deep sorrow at the demise of Amin Mohammad Group Chairman Alhaj MM Enamul Haque and sympathy to the bereaved family members. The life, ideals and works of Enamul Haque will be a source of inspiration to the new generation. I pray for salvation of the departed soul.”

He also prayed to Allah for patience to the family members of Alhaj MM Enamul Haque to overcome the shock.
