Universal Children’s Day-2023

COAST Foundation with the support of UNICEF arranged Universal Children’s Day at cluster no 90 at Bhasan Char.

The theme of this Universal Children’s Day was “To invest for the children, to make world for future”.

For arranging this day, a rally and discussion meeting was held at cluster no 90. At this rally and discussion meeting there attended Children of Bhasan Char, adolescents, community leaders, Director-Administration & Stakeholder relation, COAST Foundation, Officer in Charge-Bhasan Char, Protection Focal of Bhasan Char and Camp in Charge Bhasan Char.

The rally was done from cluster 86 t0 cluster 90. After rally a discussion meeting was held at cluster 90.

The welcome speech was given by Mustafa Kamal Akanda, Director-Administration & Stakeholder relation, COAST Foundation.

He said COAST Foundation started activities during the beginning of Bhasan Char. And will continue activities at Bhasan Char by taking cooperation of Government and Sector leads.

Olivia Mugambi, Protection sector lead said, COAST Foundation started their activities at Bhasan Char very nicely and we hope they will continue their activities. As a sector lead we will cooperate them for their activities. She gave thanks to COAST Foundation for organizing this program.

Kausar Bhuia, Officer in Charge, Bhasan Char said we have to give importance of education for the children. I will always help children for their any needs.

At last the Camp in Charge, Bhasan Char Md. Tarikul Islam, Senior Assistant Secretary said you have to build up your own life. If you can contribute at your country, then there is no alternative of education. In Bhasan Char different park for girl children’s will be made soon. No eve teasing will be granted and have to be taken action against this. To make the society there is no alternative of the wellbeing of children.
