Two ‘militants’ arrested in Shah Ali Mazar
The police arrested two suspected militants from Shah Ali Mazar at Mirpur in the capital on Thursday night.
A team of the Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police apprehended them.
Confirming the matter, DMP Deputy Commissioner (Media and Public Relations) Talebur Rahman said that huge bomb-making materials were also seized from their possession.
He, however, did not disclose the names of the arrestees.
The officer said that their drives were going on.
