SSC exams-2024 to begin Feb, HSC Jun

Education boards have announced probable dates of SSC and HSC examinations for 2024 while the SSC exams may start at the second week of February while HSC in the second week of June.

Inter education board coordination committee’s president and Dhaka Education Board chairman Tapan Kumar Sarkar disclosed this to reporters. 

He said the notice in this regard has been published on education board website.

HSC exams would be held according to revised curriculum in 2023 while SSC as per full curriculum, Tapa Kumar added.

The education calendar in the country has underwent a change due to protracted closure of educational institutions due to covid epidemic in 2020.

School closure led to delay in holding public exams and sometime even the students were assessed through different methods without sitting for exams.

Now the SSC will take place in due time from the next year but the HSC will be held somewhat later than usual time.

SSC would traditionally be held in February and HSC in April.
