Researcher Salim Reza was felicitated at the seminar of Mahishadal Raj College


A one-day international seminar was recently held at the Vidyasagar auditorium of Mahishadal Raj College in East Medinipur, India. The topic of the seminar was Liberation War: Impact on Literature, Society and Culture. The main speaker is the eminent researcher of Bangladesh Dr. Mohammad Salim Reza, President, Humanist Society of Bangladesh. The seminar was organized by the college's Bengali Department, Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Mahishadal Raj College Research Centre. Two Bangladesh-India friendship trees were planted after laying wreaths at the monument of the veterans. MLA of the area and president of the college management association Tilak Kumar Chakraborty, college principal Dr. Gautam Kumar Maiti and Bangladesh part Dr. Mohammad Salim Reza. The one-day international seminar began at the Vidyasagar auditorium with the lighting of the lamp. Later Dr. Mohammad Salim Reza was given a special award. More than 200 students participated in the seminar.
The seminar was opened by Tilak Kumar Chakraborty, president of the Mahishadal Raj College Management Committee and MLA of East Medinipur, the principal of the college gave a welcome speech Dr. Gautam Kumar Maiti. As the chief negotiator, he gave a specific speech on the impact of the liberation war, literature, society and culture. The students were very motivated and motivated in this educational session. Highlighted the contribution of Indians in the liberation war of Bangladesh. Along with this, I have requested to speed up the research program of the Liberation War through the Education and Research MoU of the concerned department of Bangladesh Government with the said college.
Spoke among others in this meeting Professor Dr. Ashis Dey, Director, Mahishadal Raj College Research Centre, Professor Dr. Subikash Mukherjee, Coordinator, Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Conductor Prof. Amitabh Mistry, Head, Department of Bengal, Mahishadal Raj College.
Professor Akram Hossain, retired professor, Vidyasagar University, Dr. was present as a special guest. Sukesh Kumar Mandal, President's Honored Novelist Eminent Researcher and Pavitra Chakraborty, Eminent Literary and Researcher among others.
Mahishadal Raj College was established in 1976 in East Medinipur, West Bengal. The college boasts of ten thousand students.
