Talking about the book, Milan said, "This year marks 50 years of my writing career. My first article was published in 1973. ‘Je Jibon Amar Chilo’ is not a story or novel but it is an autobiography. I presented my current life since childhood in the book, but not consistently. While reading the book, sometimes the readers will get my present and sometimes the past. My life at home and abroad, my relations with writers would be found in the book. The book has been written in the form of story in soft language. The surrounding events of my life and especially my writing career are highlighted in the book in different ways”.
