Mobile court to launch drive to make people wear mask

The government is going to launch drive by mobile courts in a bid to make mask wearing mandatory for all as many people are still not abiding by rules of government in this connection.

Cabinet secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam on Monday said that instruction has already been given to law enforcing agencies for ensuring mask wearing by all.

While disclosing the decision of today’s cabinet meeting, he said replying to the query of journalists, “It needs to be tough regarding the prevention from coronavirus infection as it is being assumed that the infection is rising in the country. As a result, authorities have been asked to take precaution.”

“Already, directive was issued on Sunday (yesterday) so that mobile courts in different places in the capital act strongly.”

In reply to a query that when mobile court will start drive to make people wear mask, the cabinet secretary said, “Hopefully, operation will begin within two to three days.”
