Feasibility study on 2nd Padma Bridge done: Quader

Road, Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has said feasibility study of building of the second Padma Bridge at Daulatdia-Paturiaghat point of the Padma River is complete.
Necessary measures will be taken after getting directives in this connection, he added.
Obaidul Quader came up with this revelation during a question-answer session of the ministers in the Parliament on Monday.
Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury presided over the question and answer session.
The Minister for Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader said, “After the Awami League government took over in 2009, the Padma Bridge project was given the highest priority."
