All secondary edn instts to resume academic activities on Sunday

Academic activities at all the secondary-level educational institutions -schools, colleges, madrasas, and technical educational institutions will resume on Sunday (May 5) as the temperature in the country has become tolerable to some extent.

Educational institutions in different regions of the country were closed due to the intense heat wave.

As per the directive of the education ministry, the assembly will not be held in any institutions before beginning classes. Also, students will refrain from taking part in any outdoor activities other than classes. 

Public Relations Officer of the Education Ministry MA Khayer disclosed this information in a notification at 6:15 pm on Saturday.

Mentionable, schools, colleges, madrasas, and technical educational institutions in the capital and 24 other districts were closed on Saturday.
