LGED kfw Review Mission Completed on CRIM-CReLIC
From February 1 to February 6 the progress review mission of the German Development Bank KfW on the activities of the Climate Resilient Infrastructure Mainstreaming (CRIM) project of the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) and the Climate Resilient Local Infrastructure Center (CReLIC) under it has been completed.
The other members of the mission delegation led by KfW Portfolio Manager Johannes Hangst are Technical Expert Rainer Kraus, Portfolio Coordinator Urban Development SK Touhidur Rahman.
The mission team inspected the ongoing development work in Satkhira district on February 1-3. On February 6, the progress review mission discussed Krim-Krylik with LGED Chief Engineer (Current Duty) Md. Abdur Rashid Mia.
The review mission also discussed the activities and future prospects of CReLIC with the Local Government Department (LGD), Economic Relations Division (ERD) and the German Development Agency (GIZ).
On February 6 the review mission exchanged views with LGED officials and consultants on the progress, to-do and future plans of CReLIC.
On the same day, the KFW review mission was concluded with a workshop on the Disposition Fund. KFW Technical Expert Joachim Trade joined the workshop online.
LGED was represented in the review mission by Additional Chief Engineer and CRIL Director Md. Anwar Hossain, Project Director of CReLIC Project Md. Abdul Khalek, Executive Engineer of CReLIC Md. Latif Hossain, Senior Assistant Engineer and Assistant Engineers. - Press Release
