Coast stands by fire victims of Chokoria

COAST Foundation in a prompt move distributed financial aid among the victims of the fire that ravaged the 27 families in Chittagong.

COAST has given taka 5 thousand to 27 fire gutted families in East Beula of Chokoria on Wednesday.

Besides, COAST consulted with district administration, Upazila administration, Union Parishad (UP) and various individuals for the fire response.

A massive fire has arised from electrical short circuit. Such fire incident happening frequently in Coxsbazar district.

Local residents said that they gave allegation to local electtical officicials but they responds very little. Most of the house's electric line being installed by local electricians who are hardly trained on safty and secuirty.

Electric extension happening but the department has little concern in this regard.

The COAST Foundation will take up this as advocacy in district level immediately.
