Embracing a Heroic Role Against Fatwa Issuers The Hezbut Tawheed Women's Conference- 2024 was held under the theme of 'True Ideals of Islam for Women's Awakening'.

Yesterday on Saturday, May 11, 2024, the conference took place at the Institution of Diploma Engineers Bangladesh (IDEB) in Dhaka, the capital city. The program was chaired by Rufaidah Panni, the Women's Affairs Secretary of Hezbut Tawheed, with Imam Hossain Mohammad Salim, the supreme leader of Hezbut Tawheed, attending as the chief guest. In his speech, Chief Guest Hossain Mohammad Salim highlighted the crises facing our current civilization, stating, "Today, the world is plagued by multifaceted crises. Various man-made systems have been applied, but none have brought peace. We propose embracing the way of life prescribed by Allah. One obstacle to this is the distorted view of women in Islam perpetuated by some religious figures, which has led to Islamophobia. However, the true essence of Islam is quite different." He emphasized that authentic Islam grants women rights, dignity, and freedom. Women's Affairs Secretary Rufaydah Panni remarked, "While Hezbut Tawheed women are advocating for the true ideals of Islam, a religious business group is actively obstructing our path. They are attempting to denigrate Hezbut Tawheed women through various false fatwas." She urged these extremists and terrorists to face them heroically if they dare to hinder the progress of Hezbut Tawheed women. Special guests at the event included Hezbut Tawheed's Central Coordinator Nizam Uddin, Chief Adviser Khadija Khatun, Information Editor SM Shamsul Huda, Publicity Secretary Shafiqul Alam Ukhbah, Health and Medicine Secretary Dr. Ummut Tijaan Makhduma Panni, Women and Child Health Affairs Secretary Dr. Sultana Razia, Dhaka Metropolitan General Secretary Farid Uddin Rabbani, among others. The welcome speech was delivered by the president of the organizing committee, Central Interreligious Secretary Sharmin Sultana Chaitee, Dhaka Divisional Amir Dr. Mahbub Alam Mahfuz. The program began at 9 am with religious chants followed by a recitation from the Holy Quran. The first session concluded with the chief guest's speech. After a mid-day break, an engaging cultural program was presented by artists from the Mati cultural group. Music was performed by Maati's singer Shaheen Alam and Tahmina Akhter Chand, along with other talented performers. The recitation of Kazi Nazrul's 'Nari' by Obaidul Haque Badal, known as Kathakada, stirred enthusiasm among the audience. Following the president's speech, Hossain Mohammad Salim addressed various questions during the question-and-answer session.
