Huawei launches high-performance phone Y9s in Bangladesh


The world’s leading technology company Huawei on Sunday launched its highly featured new smartphone Y9s in local market.

The launching ceremony was held at Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC).
The pre-booking of the phone will start from 26 November to 01 December 2019.

In the same event Huawei also launches another four premium smart accessories- two edition of Huawei Watch GT 2, wireless earphone Huawei FreeBuds 3, Band 4 and Band 4e. Moreover, Huawei introduces Smart technology (BD) Ltd. as its new national distributor for Huawei mobile and accessories for Bangladesh market.   

Star cricketer of Bangladesh Shakib Al Hasan, country director of Huawei Consumer Business Group (Bangladesh) Kelvin Yang, Managing Director of Smart technology (BD) Zahirul Islam and others high official of Huawei CBG Bangladesh were present at the event.         

In this regard, Kelvin Yang, country director of Huawei Consumer Business Group (Bangladesh), said “Our focus is to bring all-kind of device and eco-system products in Bangladesh along with newer model of Huawei smartphones. As part of this plan, today we have launched four premium smart gadgets along with new smartphone. We hope these new devices will meet our customers' expectations.”

Huawei Y9s features an AI triple camera setup that includes a 48 megapixel (MP) camera to deliver desirable mobile photography, along with an 8MP Ultra Wide Angle camera and a 2MP depth camera. The 16MP front camera automatically pops up in a short time when you take selfies. Besides, side-mounted fingerprint sensor facilities are added in this smartphone.    

The extraordinary 6.59” HUAWEI Ultra Full view display offers notch less display. The design of the phone is eye-catching and aesthetic. The phone comes in Midnight Black and Breathing Crystal colours.

While the 6GB RAM efficiently ensures the smooth operation even with multiple apps running. This phone has 128 GB ROM and an extra 512 GB SD card can be used in this phone for extra storage facilities.        

It also runs on EMUI 9.1.0 based on Android Pie with 4,000mAh battery. As a result, there will be no tension of the users regarding the long charging issues of the device.

Huawei Y9s will be available at BDT 29,999 whereas classic edition of Watch GT 2 is available at BDT 18,999 and sports edition is at BDT 16,999. Moreover, one can buy Huawei FreeBuds 3, Band 4 and Band 4e respectively for BDT 14,999, 2,699 and 1,599. Customers will also get a 360-degree VR camera and free 8 GB GP data bundle offer with Y9s pre-booking at any Huawei’s authorized brand shops.
