The Holy Eid-ul-Azha, one of the largest festivals of the Muslims, will be celebrated in Bangladesh on July 10.
The decision was taken following moon sighting of Zilhajj month of Arabic calendar in the sky of the country on Thursday evening.
The National Moon Sighting Committee conveyed their decision in a meeting at the conference room of the Islamic Foundation at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in the capital today.
The meeting was presided over by additional secretary Md Abdul Awal of Religious Affairs Ministry.
