Bangladesh exported goods valued at $5.10 billion in March, witnessing a 9.88% increase compared to the same month in 2023, as per the latest data from the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB).
The earnings, however, fell short of the export target for the last month by 0.88%.
In February, the country earned $5.19 billion, marking a 12.04% year-on-year growth.
According to the EPB data, the overall exports in the July-March period of FY2023-24 stood at $43.56 billion, 4.39% higher compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year.
The country has been exporting goods worth exceeding $5 billion since December last year.
