Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given Tk 25 lakh donation for the treatment of ailing actor Saleh Ahmed.

Sheikh Hasina handed over the cheque to family of the popular actor at Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) in city on Friday, said Shilpi Sanga general secretary Ahsan Habib Nasim.

Earlier, Saleh Ahmed suffered brain stroke. He was also suffering from lung disease.

The actor was born in Sariakandi of Bogura district. He started his acting career in 1991 through a drama of eminent film director Humayun Ahmed.
