President mourns death of Badruddoza Chowdhury

President Mohammed Shahabuddin on Saturday expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of former president AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury.

In a condolence message sent to the media on Saturday (October 5), the President conveyed his condolences.

In a condolence message, he said the death of Badruddoza Chowdhury is an irreparable loss to the country's political arena.

The president prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.

Badruddoza Chowdhury passed away early Saturday at 3:15 AM while undergoing treatment at the medical college he founded, Uttara Women’s Medical College.

He was 94 years old at the time of his death, leaving behind his wife, one son, two daughters, and numerous relatives and admirers.
