17 senior police officers sent into compulsory retirement
According to the notification, the officers will receive all retirement benefits as per the rules. The order will take immediate effect in the public interest
The government has sent 17 senior officers of the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) police cadre into retirement under Section 45 of the Government Service Act, 2018.
The Public Security Division of the Home Ministry issued a gazette notification in this regard on Wednesday. Senior Secretary Mosharraf Hossain Chowdhury signed the notification by order of the President.
According to the notification, the officers will receive all retirement benefits as per the rules. The order will take immediate effect in the public interest.
