Marking the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the Father of the Nation, the greatest Bengali of all time, the special session of the 11th parliament will begin on Sunday.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) imposed some restrictions to maintain law and order in Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban and adjoining areas of the capital in a bid to smooth operation of parliament session.

Md Shafiqul Islam, DMP commissioner, signed a notification on Thursday in this regard.

According to notification, it has been prohibited carrying all kinds of arms, ammunitions, explosive materials, other harmful and polluting substances from 12:00 am on November 7. Besides, any kind of rally and procession are banned from that time.
