The government has extendended all-out lockdown for seven more days. The lockdown restriction will remain in force till June 6.

As per the new instruction, Bangladesh Bank has decided to increase banking hour for more 30 minutes.

Bangladesh Bank issued the notification on Sunday after the cabinet decision on extension of the lockdown.

According to notification, banking transaction will continue from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm every day. After that, the bank will remain open till 4:30 pm for post-transaction activities.

The decision will be effective from Monday ( May 31), the notification futher said.
