The countrywide 'lockdown' has been extended once again till June 16.  

The cabinet division issued a gazette notification in this regard today.

As per the notification, government offices and educational institutions will remain closed without emergency services. Apart from this, everything will remain open on a limited scale.

All tourist spots, resorts, community and entertainment centres will also remain closed during this time.

Social, political and religious gatherings will be banned during this period.

The government had earlier extended the Covid-19 restrictions till 6 June midnight to prevent the transmission of the deadly virus.
