Railways minister Nurul Islam Sujan has said the train communication between Dhaka and Narayanganj route has been suspended for works on Dhaka to Padma link project.

Hopefully, this work will be complete within one or two months and it would be possible to open to commuters, said the minister.   

He came up with this information after visiting level crossing gate T2 and T1 of double line project of Naraynaganj Rail Station on Saturday noon.

Nurul Islam Sujan said train fare has not been hiked considering hassel-free movement of people. The premier said it is service oriented. The train fare has not seen an increase though fare in other vehicles hiked.
