A photo of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman created by a Rajshahi artist has drawn attention of everybody.
The artist was able to complete his work on the photo after three and a half years of frantic effort.
Habibullah Al Imran alias Shihan, 49, a graphic designer by profession, lives in Padma Residential Area in city of Rajshahi.
Starting on August 15, 2015, he finished drawing the picture named “The Father” on March 17, 2019.
The artist claimed that resolution of the photo created on digital painting will not diminish despite 300 ×400 inches’ illustration.
He handed over the photo to Bangabandhu Memorial Museum in Dhanmondi in September, 2019. He received copyright for the photo. He is the only artist to get copyright for any photo on Bangabandhu.
According to him, DSLR camera has highest 50.6 megapixel capacity. But his work on Bangabandhu is a 533 pixel photo. The world will have to wait for 10-15 years to get such powerful camera, he opined.
