The government has promoted additional secretary of the Public Administration Ministry Khorsheda Yasmeen and appointed her as the secretary of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

The Public Administration Ministry on Thursday issued a  notification to this end.

Meanwhile, ACC Secretary Md. Mahbub Hossain has been transferred to the Ministry of Labour and Employment as secretary.

Secretary, Ministry of Labour and Employment Ehsan Elahi’s remaining period of contract has been cancelled following his application. He has been the Labour Secretary on contract since 23 November last year.

On the other hand, President's Press Secretary Md. Zainal Abedin has been appointed to the post for another year.

The Public Administration Ministry issued a notification on Wednesday appointing Zainal as the president's press secretary on contract from 11 February or the date of joining.
