Law Minister Anisul Huq has said that protesters opposing the quota system in public jobs may go to court to present their arguments.
He emphasised that the protesters have the option to appoint a lawyer to represent them in court, where their case will be heard and decided.
Speaking to journalist on Monday, Anisul Huq made the remarks regarding the ongoing protests against the quota system in public jobs.
Those opposing the quota system did not have legal representation during the initial court hearing, which prevented them from effectively presenting their arguments, he said.
The case has reached the Appellate Division. They may appoint a lawyer at the Appellate Division, he noted.
