As part of campaigning for the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election, BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman is set to hold a series of election programmes in four districts on Sunday (25 Jan).

The schedule for the third day of his election campaign has been finalised, BNP Media Cell member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed to the media on Friday.

According to the programme, Tarique will begin the day at 9:30am by participating in a “policy dialogue” at Hotel Radisson in Chattogram city.

The event is expected to focus on the party’s policy positions, election-oriented plans, and the current political situation.

At 11:00am, he will address a mass rally at the historic Polo Ground in Chattogram.

Party sources said preparations are underway to ensure the participation of BNP leaders and activists from the Chattogram metropolitan area and nearby districts.

After completing his Chattogram engagements, the BNP chairman will travel to Feni, where he is scheduled to speak at another public rally at the Feni Pilot College ground.

He will then proceed to Cumilla and address public gatherings at three locations—Chauddagram, Suwagazi and Daudkandi.

The final programme of the day will be a public rally at the Kanchpur Balur Math in Narayanganj. Following the rally, Tarique Rahman will return to his residence in Gulshan, Dhaka.

According to party leaders, the main objective of these programmes is to establish direct contact with voters in different regions and to present the BNP’s political stance as part of its election campaign.
