Eastern Bank Limited (EBL) has observed the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at the bank’s head office at the Gulshan area in Dhaka.

EBL Chairman Md. Showkat Ali Chowdhury was present at the celebration program as chief guest.

EBL Directors Mufakkharul Islam Khasru, Gazi Md. Shakhawat Hossain, Managing Director, and CEO Ali Reza Iftekhar along with all employees of the bank were present at the function.

Cutting a special birthday cake, the EBL family donned in T-Shirts with the Mujib 100 Year logo assembled in front of the bank’s head office to display ceremonial placards for 10 minutes starting from 10:00 am.
