All general and main post offices across the country will remain partially open from Sunday during shutdown imposed to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus.

According to a government notice issued on Thursday, the post office counters will remain operational from 10am to 1pm every day for Post Office Savings Bank transactions under special arrangement, as well as, e-commerce, mobile money order and parcel services. 

The Ministry of Post and Telecommunication came up with the decision under the instruction of the Post and Telecommunication Minister Mustafa Jabbar.
