Kitchen markets and super shops in the city will remain open from 6am to 5pm daily, said the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
Besides, the grocery shops in various paras and mahallas (localities) will remain open from 6am to 2pm every day, said Deputy Commissioner (Media) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Masudur Rahman.
However, drugstores and emergency services will remain out of the purview of this directive, he said.
The DMP sought cooperation from the city dwellers in checking the spread of the deadly virus.
On Monday, the DMP ordered the closure of recognised kitchen markets and super shops in the capital by 7pm and grocery stores and small shops by 2pm.
The DMP has rescheduled the timetable as the government issued a directive asking people not to go out of home after 6:30 pm.
