Civil Surgeon Abdul Gaffar said two of the patients are from Sadar upazila and another is from Ramganj.
They received the result of samples of 45 people on Saturday night and found three of them positive.
Necessary measures have been taken regarding the new patients, the official added.

Three more people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in Laxmipur, raising the total number of confirmed cases in the district to 22.
