Ebadul Karim, managing director of Beacon Pharmaceuticals Limited, has tested positive with the novel coronavirus. 

He is also an incumbent Member of Parliament from Brahmanbaria-5 constituency.

"Ebadul Karim was tested positive two days before Eid. His health condition is improving," Giash Uddin Ahmed, director (finance & accounts) of Beacon Pharmaceuticals Limited, said on Tuesday night. 

He is currently undergoing treatment from home.
