A man died in Subadda area of Keraniganj on Sunday night a day after his son’s death from coronavirus infection.

The deceased was identified as Bazlur Rahman Mridha, 75.

Bazlur’s son Sirajul Islam Mridha, 48, who was diagnosed with coronavirus, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital early Saturday,FT reported.

Bazlur Rahman died around 8pm on Sunday and his sample has been collected for test, said upazila nirbahi officer Amit Deb Nath.

In the upazila, so far 15 people died from coronavirus and total coronavirus cases rose to 486.
