The government has formed a nine-member taskforce to investigate the alleged irregularities in health sector.

The health ministry formed the task force on Sunday amid ever increasing criticisms over irregularities and mismanagement in the sector.

Earlier on July 22, Health Minister Zahid Maleque told the reporters that government will form a 'new and stronger' taskforce.

The taskforce will look into if there are any irregularities in the hospitals, clinics and other medical institutions, he said.
