An organized team of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the police has arrested four people, including two Nigerians, for their alleged involvement in fraudulence with people using social media.

They were arrested from Dakshin Khan area of the capital on Tuesday night.

The arrested are Moro Mohammad and Morison from Nigeria and Sisom and Anthony from Ghana.

Six laptops, several SIM cards and six mobiles of different models were seized from their possession.

Syeda Jannat Ara, Special Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Serious Crime Unit of the Organized Crime Division, revealed this information at a press conference at the Malibagh CID office in the capital on Wednesday noon.
