Detective Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested three members of inter-district drug ring along with 20,000 pieces of Yaba tablets in Fakirapool area of Motijheel in the capital early Friday.

The arrestees are identified as Md Selim, 50, Md Dilu alias Baru and Mohammad Ali, 22.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of law enforcers conducted a raid and arrested them with the Yabas, assistant police commissioner of the Detective Branch Madhusudan Das, who led the drive, said.

A case was filed against them with Motijheel Police Station, he said.
