As part of the government’s measures to prevent the question papers leaks during public examinations, Bangladesh Bank has asked mobile financial service (MFS) providers to keep transactions through MFS accounts under surveillance during the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exams.
“MFS providers will have to convey the instruction to their distributors, agents and clients. Agents will have to be under surveillance,” read a notification issued by the central bank on Sunday.
The MFS providers have been advised to inform law enforcement agencies of suspicious transactions during this period.
This year’s HSC and equivalent exams has began on Monday.
