Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday spent some time with the leaders of Bangladesh Association of Banks (BAB) and their families as they met her at her official Ganabhaban residence in the capital.
The leaders of the BAB including chairmen, managing directors and the chief executive officers of different state-owned and private banks along with their spouses joined the event at the lush green lawn of Ganabhaban yesterday afternoon.
BAB Chairman Nazrul Islam Mazumder, who is also the chairman of the private EXIM Bank Ltd, led the delegation.
After arriving at the venue at around 5 pm, the prime minister went round different tables set for the guests and exchanged pleasantries with them.
Nazrul Islam Mazumder and parliament member from Chattogram Waseqa Ayesha Khan spoke on the occasion.
During the time, artistes from the Exim Bank Ltd. presented a "jarigan" highlighting the successes and achievements of the present government.
Ministers, PM's advisers, parliament members and senior officials of the Prime Minister's Office and Ganabhaban were present.
