Bangladesh Chhatra Adhikar Parishad has finally split, creating a new faction excluding most of its founding leaders.

The new faction has been formed under the leadership of APM Sohel.

Joint convener APM Sohel and Ismail Sohel were introduced as new Convener and Member Secretary of the central body respectively at a press conference on Thursday.

The newly formed faction also declared acting convener of Bangladesh Sadharan Chhatra Adhikar Sangrakkhan Parishad Muhammad Rashed Khan and joint convener Nurul Haque Nur unwanted.
