Physicians of public hospitals in the country cannot stay in private hospitals to serve patients during their office hours as restriction has been imposed in this regard.

The taskforce committee of the health ministry took such a decision in a meeting on Wednesday.

Based on the decision, physicians working in government hospitals will notify taskforce or authorities concerned to stay in private workplaces.

In addition, hospitals/diagnostic centres/labs/clinics will clearly highlight their licence/registration numbers.
