National Board of Revenue (NBR) Chairman Abu Hena Md Rahmatul Muneem said paying income tax will not be deffered this year.

The last date to submit the return is November 30.

He disclosed the matter at a press conference at 10 am on Sunday.

The people who are unable to pay their income tax returns on time, can apply to the concerned tax office.

Such taxpayers will be granted time if reasons for delay is valid, he said.
