The second phase of elections will be held in at least 60 municiplaites of the country.

Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) will be used in half of those municipalities.

Election Commission (EC) senior secretary Md Alamgir came up with this information after a meeting on Sunday.

The meeting was presided over by Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda.

The EC has a intention to hold municipal elections in four phases amid coronavirus pandemic. Already, schedule has been declared for elections to 25 municipalities to be held in December 28.
