Cricketer Shakib Al Hasan's father-in-law Mumtaz Ahmed is no more. He was 72.

He died in United States Wednesday afternoon. He had been living in the USA for almost three decades.

Family sources told the media that Shakib's father-in-law Mumtaz Ahmed was suffering from shortness of breath for long. His physical condition deteriorated in last few days.

Shakib Al Hasan left Dhaka for the United States early hours of Tuesday on an emergency basis. But the bad news comes before his reaching.
