WALTON Group Director Mahbub Alam Mridul has died of cardiac arrest in a city hospital. He was 23.

He breathed his last at Evercare Hospital in Bashundhara Residential Area in the capital around 6:23 pm Thursday.

Mridul was born at Gosai Joair village in Tangail on January 25, 1997. His father SM Shamsul Alam is Vice-Chairman WALTON Hi-Tech Industries Ltd.

The sudden death of Mahbub Alam Mridul has cast a dark shadow over the WALTON family.

He will be laid to rest after Juma prayers in the aftermath of namaj-e-janaza in family graveyard of Tangail.
