English version will be launched in a government school in each district, said State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Zakir Hossain.

Two separate English teachers will be appointed in each school to this end, he said.

The State Minister revealed this information while talking to journalists after a programme at Hotel Intercontinental in the capital on Sunday.

Zakir Hossain said, “It will begin in the preliminary stage. Later, the summary will be sent to Prime Minister for final approval. If we get approval we will begin it.”

“The quality of primary teachers has increased. Utilising it, we want to prepare our students more skilled in English,” the State Minister said.
