A 21-month baby has been admitted to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) after being infected with Covid-19.

DMCH corona unit is imparting treatment to five children including 21 month baby now.

The babies are kept in High Dependency Unit (HDU).

Prof Dr Sayeeda Anwar, head of pediatric department of Dhaka Medical College, said the hospital is now receiving children infected with coronavirus.

However, the infection is not taking a serious turn in case of children, she added.
