A Dhaka Court has granted 21-day remand to Mufti Shakhawat Hossain Razi and Manjurul Islam Afendi, central assistant secretary generals of Hefazat-e-Islam, in three cases including a sabotage case lodged against them.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mamunur Rashid passed the order as the accused were produced before the court after a five-day remand.

During the hearing, the police requested to keep them in jail till the end of the investigation of the case. Following the application, the judge ordered to send them to jail.
